Cookie Policy
The Provelex website sets no cookies of its own, and has no advertising or analytics cookies. It does keep two small items in your browser's local storage, and two third-party services you may choose to use have their own cookies.

What Provelex stores in your browser
Local storage works much like a cookie, but it stays on your device and is not sent to a server automatically.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| provelex.token | Keeps you signed in. Only present once you have signed in. | Until you sign out. The sign-in itself stops working after 30 days. |
| provelex.theme | Remembers whether you chose the light, dark or system theme. | Until you change it or clear your browser data. |
Both are needed for what they do, and neither is used to track you. That is why the site does not show a cookie banner.
Third-party services
| Service | Where it appears | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Google sign-in | The sign-in and sign-up pages, which load a script from Google | Google may set or read its own cookies under its own policy, particularly if you choose Sign in with Google. |
| Dodo Payments | Its own payment pages, when you choose to top up | Dodo may set its own cookies on its own website, under its own policy. |
Sites tested by Provelex
When Provelex assesses a website, it uses a separate browser on our server. Cookies set by that site stay in that browser and do not reach your device. Reports may describe those cookies, because cookie configuration is one of the security checks.
How to control this
You can clear local storage and block cookies in your browser settings. Clearing local storage signs you out and resets the theme. Blocking Google's cookies may stop Sign in with Google from working, but you can still use an email address and password.
If this changes
If we add analytics or anything else that uses cookies, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
