Who is responsible
DevSapience Technology Solutions publishes Provelex and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at provelex@devsapience.com.
What we collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, username, country and date of birth | Creating an account | To run your account. Country sets your pricing region. Date of birth confirms you are 18 or over, because running an assessment means confirming you are authorised to test a site. |
| Password (stored only as an Argon2 hash) | Creating an account with a password | To sign you in. We cannot read your password. |
| Google account identifier, name and email address | Signing in with Google | To sign you in. |
| Application addresses, your authorisation statement and any login you add for a site | Adding an application | To run assessments and keep a record of the permission you gave. Logins are encrypted before they are stored. |
| Findings, page data, screenshots and reports | Running an assessment | To produce and show your results. Screenshots can contain whatever the tested site displays, including personal information. |
| Credit history and payment references | Using credits or buying more | To keep your balance correct and match payments to accounts. We do not see or store card details. |
| The address you test, your IP address and the result | Using a free tool with no account | To show the result and limit misuse. It is deleted automatically: see the retention table below. |
| Your message, the page you were on, your browser details and, if signed in, your email address | Sending feedback | To read and act on it. It is stored and copied to our support inbox. |
| Whatever you put in your email | Writing to us | To answer you. |
| IP address, time, page requested and browser details | Any visit | Server logs, to keep the service running and to detect attacks. Sign-in tokens and codes are removed from these logs. |
We do not sell personal information. Provelex has no advertising and no analytics service on the website today. If that changes, this page and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. There is no self-service delete button yet, so please write to provelex@devsapience.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, privacy law such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the EU and UK GDPR may give you further rights, including the right to complain to a regulator.
People under 18
Provelex is not for anyone under 18, and sign-up asks for a date of birth to enforce that.
People whose data appears on a tested site
A website being tested may display information about other people. The person running the assessment is responsible for having the right to test it. If you think your information has been captured in a Provelex report, write to us and we will look into it.
Security
The Security Practices page describes how information is protected.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell account holders by email.
