Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use Provelex, with or without an account. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who we are

Provelex is provided by DevSapience Technology Solutions ("we"). You can contact us at provelex@devsapience.com.

2. Who can use Provelex

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Provelex for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Your account

Give accurate details, including your country, which sets your pricing region. Keep your sign-in secure, because you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person or organisation should not open several accounts to collect joining credits.

4. Your authorisation to test

You may only assess a website or application you own, or one you are authorised by its owner to test. Every time you add an application or start a free assessment, you confirm this. We record that confirmation and reproduce it in reports. Security testing without permission is unlawful in most countries, and you are responsible for it. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.

Assessments visit pages and may submit forms and sign in with any login you give us. Advanced assessments also send bounded test input. You are responsible for choosing a suitable target, for any login you provide, and for telling anyone who needs to know that testing is taking place.

5. The service

What each assessment level includes is described on the Features page. We may change, add or remove features. We will not reduce what you have already paid for in a run that has started.

6. How far you can rely on results

Results are automated, may include false alarms and will not catch every problem. AI-generated content can be wrong. A score or report is information to help you investigate. It is not a guarantee, a certification or professional advice. The Disclaimer forms part of these terms. Check a finding against your own site before acting on it.

7. Credits and payment

AI-driven runs use credits, and the price is shown before each run starts. Credits are a way to pay for use of the service. They have no cash value outside it, cannot be transferred, and have no expiry date. A voucher may have its own closing date and can be used once per account.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, whose own terms also apply to your purchase and who collects any tax due. The Credits & Billing page explains how this works, and the Refund Policy explains refunds.

8. Your content and reports

You keep your rights in the information you provide and in your reports. You allow us to process it as needed to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may use and share your own reports. Please do not present them as an endorsement or certification by Provelex.

9. Our rights

The Provelex software, name and website belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as these terms allow.

10. Third parties

Provelex relies on third-party providers, including AI model, payment, email and hosting providers, listed in the Privacy Policy. Names of standards such as OWASP, WCAG and ISO are used to describe what a check relates to and do not imply endorsement.

11. Availability

We try to keep Provelex running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. A run that fails without producing a report returns its credits.

12. Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or data, or for what happens to a website or system you choose to test. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right or liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Responsibility for your use

If someone makes a claim against us because you tested a system without authorisation or otherwise broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur as a result.

14. Suspending or closing an account

We may suspend or close an account, or refuse a run, if these terms are broken or to protect the service or others. You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to provelex@devsapience.com.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email. Continuing to use Provelex after a change means you accept it.
